Valmy Park to the south includes trails, a winery and19th-century castle. The Argelès port and the old fishing village of Racou have an array of activities and sites to enjoy.

Explore the Heart of the Pyrénées-Orientales!
Argeles Sur Mer is the pride and joy of the region Pyrénées-Orientales. Boasting as having the longest sandy beach in the region and having the mixture of the Catalan and Occitan culture. It is also one of the largest wine growing regions in France. There are a many places to explore from mountains to sea with a number of villages to choose from to discover. Close by Argeles Sur Mer, a few minutes train ride away is Collioure, known for its history and artists. The city of Perpignan for shopping and superb restaurants. Cadaques Spain is a little further along the coast to see the famous Salvador Dali museum and his former home. The lovely beach cottages of Racou with it's refreshing mountain trails too!
